Just an update on the pump situation.....my ameda is GOING back!!!! It is leaking air again and I hate it....it has drastically cut down my milk supply so I went out a couple days ago and purchased the lansinoh affinity and I love it!!!!!!!! Best money I spent lately!!!!!
Well my baby is already here actually and I've been using the ameda but I hate it!!!!! Hmmmm I'm now thinking about buying it!!!! It's around 100 at Wal-Mart and I have a coupon for one!!!!
My hospital actually recommends the lansinoh, and my sister uses it and says it works great
They both cycle the same, suction the same, and both have a let down phase if that helps. I researched it a lot before buying
I use the lansinoh to pump exclusively (my baby wouldn't latch) and I get 5-10 oz from it every 3 hrs! It works amazing. It's actually comparable in every way to the medela PISA besides all the added extras like the backpack and ice pack.. Lol
I haven't had the chance to use it since baby isn't here yet. But best belive I will put some type of review so you moms and moms to be can see.
Maybe if you're having a baby shower you can put the madela pump on you're registry? Who knows maybe someone will buy it for you... I wouldn't recommend another brand BC of what I have heard about them from a few people.. but its you're choice in the end. :)
Yea I went thru insurance and they gave me an ameda and I hate it.....I have already had an air leaking problem once so they sent me a new hygena-kit and now it's doing the same thing.....I really want a madela but they r so expensive......that'd why I was looking into the lansinoh one.....I do have wic so I will see about what they can do!!!!!
Ms Martinez how do u like it????
Never tried the lansinoh pump but I have used Ameda and Medela pumps and loved both of them. I know they are expensive but its so worth it if you think about what you would spend on formula for a year.
Check with your insurance because a lot of insurances will pay for a breast pump. Or if you take part in a program like WIC they may give you one.
I wouldn't get that one.. my mil is a lactation consultant and I asked her about a few pumps that being one of them and she didn't reccomend it.. I'm going with the Madela she said its excellent and well worth the money
I bought it despite mixed reviews because the medela is too pricy.
