Ive been really bad about soda this pregnancy it was the one thing I allowed myself to have that I considerd bad. I feel guilty about it but at this point im already 35 weeks and I told my dr and she says its not good and I shouldnt be doing it but my baby looks completely healthy.

If you drink a lot of soda you need to drink twice as much water, cuz soda is dehydrating. Water helps increase your blood volume, which is very important.

You won't get a UTI from soda, you can get a UTI if you don't drink enough liquids in general because then what little urine you have in your bladder is remaining stagnant and bacteria can build up.

Yes. The baby doesn't need all that caffeine.  the water helps you and also the baby. it'll help flush out your system better. if you're not drinking enough water you can get dehydrated.

Yes you need at least 12-14 glasses of water a day. If your gonna drink soda make sure its NOT diet and that you monitor your caffeine intake. Also make sure you take a calcium supplement.
