I've heard one of the risks of home dopplers is that sometimes it makes people overly confident about the baby's heartrate. I would definitely call your doctor, and maybe even go to the ER just to check things out. I'm sure he's fine though.
It depends on how far along you are but I fell flat on my stomach chasing a dog in the rain pregnant with my son early in my second trimester and the doc said that because of how early I was it was nothing to worry about.
yea it wasnt a hard fall its just it was so hard for me to get pregnant and now that i am i dont wana loose it
I would call your doctor and see what they want you to do. Usually it's not a problem if you do not land on your stomach, but sometimes they want to just be safe and have you looked at. I fell at 30+ weeks (I don't remember how far I was) and landed on my side and back (I tripped into a ditch, don't ask how) and it didn't cause any problems. Baby has a decent bit of padding in there, so it takes a fair bit to cause harm to them.
