Mine yesterday measuring 5 weeks 4 days showed the sac, which looked like a large pulsating black spot, and placental tissue. We just saw a shadow of sorts that might be the start of the fetal pole.

I'm going back in a week and by that time we expect to see the fetal pole and a slightly bigger sac. At 6 weeks you might be able to detect a heartbeat but it often takes another week or two before it's really strong enough to tell.

Ive tried to figure out my transvaginal ultrasound.. I saw something weird on the screen but was too scared to ask what it was. Just trying to figure something out.

It's just like an abdominal one but up the vagina instead. It gets a better pic in early pregnancy since tur uterus hasn't popped out of your pubic bone yet :)

In most cases you will see a fetal pole, gestational sac/yolk sac and possibly a heartbeat.
