Thanks everyone.  I was prescribed a pill to fight it off a few weeks ago.  But it came back . I know it's a yeast infection and I will be talking to my doctors on Monday.  I'm just suffering today. Ugh.  Just hope it gets under control.   Also I've been on antibiotics for uti that I take every night since I been pregnant and I'm almost 20 weeks so I know that hasn't been helping with the yeast.

I reaaaally want to give you advice but I have the same problem lol. I've had a bacterial and yeast infection since 25 weeks. It's been horrible but the medication won't help. I was told that it will go away or at least get extremely better after pregnancy lol. I took Monistat 7 and over the counter medication. For the itching get Vagisil cream. It works wonders!

Avoid antibiotics if at all possible! They kill bad AND good bacteria, opening the door with a WELCOMEsign for yeast to run rampant. Also, consume a lot of yogurt with live probiotic cultures, preferably not sugary kinds! Your best choice would be to get plain yogurt and mix in some berries or other fruit. It will be way better than the high sugar containing kinds all the stores sell.  Find a good quality probiotic supplement at a health food store and load up!

It sounds like your homones have you out of balance. My dr and I just realized I may be allergic to my husband with treatment comes the yeast. I have found that using ph balanced Vagasil unscented soap helps a lot. I have also taken a tampon soaked it in yogurt and inserted at bed time, cooling and gets the yeast under control. And yes watching sugar an yeast carbs like bread will contribute to the growth of yeast. I hope you feel better!

Use an over the counter treatment kit for relief within about 3 days. If you want to eliminate or at least minimize your trouble with yeast overgrowth,  you will need to alter your diet to mostly eliminate sugars and white flour products. Focus on lots of veggies, eggs, meat, the more garlic the better. Go light on fruit. Yeast feeds on all sugars, even the sugars created as your body digests sweet fruits and refined carbs (sugar, and highly refined foods). I battled this for years and have it under control right now.

Its actually not a good idea to use powders & summer eves like products especially scented anything. Some soaps can be the culprit also.  I couldn't use anything but Dove Unscented Soap. Also, if you are treating it yourself you may wanna NOT. Lol & call your ob have it checked out. If its reoccuring maybe u need to finish complete doses of meds, or rule out a different type of infection. Or air out down there as much as possible. I wear pantiliners all through pregnancy because of discharge & the material on panties irritate me. Just some ideas.

They are common when your pregnant cuz u arnt supposed to douche or anything but your doctor should give u some antibiotics and u may have to take them once a day til the end. Also try using dial antibacterial soap and rinse really really well.

I have been lucky not to have one while pregnant  but I suffer from them. Dr jus tell me im more prone to them.  But some tips drinks lots of water stay away from sugars also Greek yogurt with active cultures help balance your ph. Google I found a website once with more tips. That's jus what I remember. The med I've gotten from the dr doesnt even help me I jus suffer from them. Another thing I do that helps...is I use toilet paper in my panties (keeps dryer than a pad) and change it every time I go when I have a yeast infection bc it keeps it dry down there...I know its gross but it helps goodluck
