restless legs

i am 35 weeks pregnant and i have had restless leg syndrome for about 2 months now. it is getting worse and worse by the day. i cant sit or lay still, or sleep. the only thing that kind of helps is a warm/hot bath. but that only lasts till the water runs cold. i also itch a lot at night.  like sudden, sharp stings/bites that itch every few seconds on a different area of my body which drives me nuts and makes teh restless legs worse. what can i do??? is it true magnesium may help and if so is that safe for the baby?

I get RLS really bad when pregnant....and it does get worse towards the end.  I don't know you have a pregnancy pillow....for me it always helped to either have a pillowe between my legs when laying on my side or under my knees when on my back...I've never heard of the magnesium thing.

You have to ask your doctor. I'd say you're just having a nerve problem. talk it over with your ob/gyn what might be safe to make you more comfortable.
