I too have just gone thru bilateral salpingectomy. It's only been 3 days now since I've had my surgery, but I'm planning on starting the IVF process. Does anyone know how soon I should start after surgery & does anyone have any success stories aster a salpingectomy & IVF treatment?

i dont know if this is the same situation  but my friend couldnt figure out why she couldnt get pregnant after a few years of trying. it turned out her tubes were blocked. She went through a procedure to have them "blown out".  She just had her second baby naturally and had no problem getting pregnant after.

well... I heard it is better to have them removed because the embryo can implant better
