When I was in high school we had a class where we could go to the hospital 1/2 day and learn about the different areas and get college credit for. They gave us packets to get our CNA license bc it is so much easier to save money with a job that pays $10 am hour and more compared to min wage at a fast food place. So a ton of us got our license at 16 I still have mine and whats great about it is if you go to college for nursing a lot of times the place you work for as a CNA will pay for your college or give you some awesome scholarships. Plus you already have atleast some medical knowledge and when you get your next degree you can just move up where you are working instead of finding a new job.

I finished my Cna classes all the way back in December but i've been putting off taking the test because it's $75 and now I forget everything i've learned so i'm afraid to take the test I feel like i'll just be wasting money if I fail. I'm due in October hopefully I can attempt to take it before Christmas so that I won't have to repeat the classes. I rather not work as a cna while pregnant it is very tiring and tedious work

You can not become a cna at 16... you need a highschool diploma. I am enrolling in my cna classes this fall

I took a 12 day CNA class when I was 26 weeks pregnant And got my license in about 3 weeks. Unfortunately I couldn't start working right away bc no nursing home is going to hire a pregnant woman that far in! I am now 39 weeks and hoping to start working in 2 months! I only plan to work as a CNA 2 years tops while I go back I school to be an ultra sound tech.
