Yes if u have a vaginal delivery u should wait to get all clear from doc. I messed up and had sex about 2 weeks after I had my son and only after found out that u can give urself a horrible infection if ur not healed up luckily I went on antibiotics couple days later for mastitis anywaz but I was scared and was reading up more on it and found a story of a husband accidently killing his wife from oral sex cuz he blew air into her blood stream (the tissues are very delicate an thin for awhile) im sure a freak accident but I wanna see my boys grow up. Sorry if im scaring u but its better to wait

I was cleared before 6 weeks. Depends on the doctor but most do say 6 weeks but in reality you are your own person and can make your own decisions.
