sharp pain.. :-/

I am pregnant with my first baby and not sure what to do..  I'm 29 weeks and I get a sharp pain way down by my hip on my left side..  It usually happens when I sit up suddenly or push something heavy and then goes away after a few minutes, but this morning it is still sore after an hour.. My doc is off today and I'm not sure what to do.

you shouldn't be pushing or lifting anything heavy when you are pregnant. no matter what  FIRST and always go by how you feel if you are worried go to the ER they will call your doctor to let him/her know what's going on.  its better safe then sorry. Good luck and let me know how everything goes.

Call the medical hotline in your area, there is stand by nurses ready to take your call. If it gets worse the only thing you can do is go to the hospital. My Doctor urges me if something doesn't feel right get a hold of a medical team or just go to the hospital. Better be safe than sorry. Good luck and stay safe.
