sharp pains?

hi ladies i keep getting sharp pains dwn below simlar to period pains but i only came off my period 30th dec.08 so could this be anything to do with me gettin ready to ovulate?? as from wot i have wrked out im ment to b ovulating about the 7th or 8th of jan 09. any advice plz??

ok then ladies thanks for ur comments! much appreciated. im gonna start having sex from tonite and up until about the 13th. although i have done another ovulation test today and it was negative. no  line appreed at 1st but after 5 mins there was a very faint posative live but according to the bk of my  ov test it says if the line is fainter than the control line then the test is negative, so i still dont think iv ovulated yet!! but i will keep testing. ill keep u all inform and  thanks again for the post's.

I can feel myself ovulate.. i kinda like start to feel achy for a few days on the side that is ovulating and then kinda gets stronger i agree with the above post though just start having sex girl!! If your trying to get pregnant i was told that best bet for it to happen is to have the sperm there ready n waiting!! lol so even the egg hasn't dropped yet you are okay!

I think you are having ovulation pains, start having sex girl...LOL!!! When I was younger, I would get those everytime I ovulated but now that I'm 34, I don't get them anymore! It was easy for me to get pregnant during those days but now, I'm having the hardest time!

Some women have stated that they have ovulation pains 2 days b4 they actually ovulate, i only had pre ovulation pains about twice. I normally get pains on the day i ovulate and thats it. So its possible thats what the pain could be from.
