slightly worried about my son

so my son is 18 days old. he came down with a little cold a few days ago. but today hes throwing all his milk up and keeps crying for more straight after. and he also screaming like he is in pain and wont go down just wants to be cuddled. im starting to worry about him. should i phone the doctor or midwife

he seems spaced out sometimes and hid breathing is fast then it slows down then it speeds up again

Go in. Could be something serious. Is he lethargic? Is his breathing okay?

Sounds like he may have a case of colic! Best thing to do is take him to the docs just to be sure. Don't want to give him something if u don't know what's wrong with him. Gud luck & I hope he gets well soon!

ok thank u. and i dnt really eat much. i never got my appitite back after giving birth. my midwife said i wax ok if i just snacked on healthy food.

i would get him seen, it could be the cold, it could be reflux, etc... its better safe than sorry... spit up is different from vomitting and if you baby is vomitting then it could be an issue... if he is bf it could be something in your diet..

my dd pukes alot if i eat fish so i dont eat it now

When my children got sick like that at that age i called their pediatrician.  And they told me to bring them in to see the dr.  the dr understands.  So take ur baby to their doctor. Its ok to be a worried about them.

Might b best 2 get him checked out my daughter has been the same and she is 22 days old my midwife told me 2 give her sugered water cause she might b constipated and it seemed 2 work she also has a cold and has quite a bit of mucus at the back of her throat but I wud definately ring and get some advice
