What A Dumb *** Question..
Some of ya'll need educated yourself. Of course its not good for you, however. No one knows why sids happens, it can happen if you dont smoke. Whst you need to remember is quitting st some point would be a good idea but going cold turkey is not how to do it. You can throw the baby into shock. And enf up causing problems. Try every week cutting back a certain number, until done. And like the other woman side. It doesn't make you a bad person or mommy
You asked a question that is ridiculous so don't be surprised that people answered you harshly. Of course smoking is bad for your baby and you. The ill effects of smoking have been known for a while. A long while.
i don't need to educate myself on anything i was asking an honest question. i have all the pamphlet but they don't give you all the info you need.
i didn't ask for the sarcasm i stopped smoking when i found out i was pregnant at 5 weeks. im 6 months now. i was just wondering. but thanks soooo much for your input!!!
No yu cant and believe me i was a smoker i stopped and ONE of the reasons i think yu can do it to is that When yu hit a certin week of yur pregnancy like the beginning everytime yu light one itll make yu feel reallllll sickkk and trust me that feeling just made me stop smoking it was disgusting and the worst .
Nooo! Your baby can not tell you no but I surely can for him or her! Don't do it
I quit smoking for myself, baby and my partner. I smoke for 10 years.i quit as soon as i found out i was preg at 9w im now 34w. U can do it too okay. Actually i found it easier to quit cos i had something to quit for. Risking ur baby health isnt worth it.my mum had 6 kids.she quit with all 5 who turned out healthy . But smoked when she carryed my sista. My sista has bad asma.she has to be careful while doing fitness incase she had a asma acttack.be smokefree for ur baby and longer life x
Its not the best for the baby but i was smoking,a pack a day when i found out i was pregnant with my son and was told by my doctor i had to slowly quit otherwise it would cause more harm to myself and my unborn child.. I quit three months later and he was born a week late and 8lbs 9oz :) .. I also had a friend who smoked on and off through out her pregnancy and gave birth to a healthy baby girl with no medical issues... There is alot that is unhealthy to the baby but ppl still do them anyway... Try to quit or minimally use its your choice and doesn't make you a bad person or mom :)
If you want a unhealthy baby or even your baby dying. SURE go right ahead
I'm 9 weeks and I was still smoking up until yesterday i tryed to smoke today and I couldn't cause every time I did I was getting empty reaches its your choice to smoke or not :-)
If you're asking this, you REALLY need to educated yourself on pregnancy. I suggest going to a local health clinic and talking to someone there.
nooooo! not at all!!!!!! they can cause low birth weight, cleft lip, an early birth. there are so many terrible probabilities its not worth it to even take the chance . i know a girl that smoked cigarrettes her entire pregnancy because she craved so she thought it ok and shes lucky that her son came out healthy but i was beyond pissed off. craving or not its not an excuse and its a terrible thing to put your child through!
I quit cold turkey the minute I found out. You can too!.
also causes low birthweight. Quit now.. its bot worth the risk.
No, like above said, and also read the SIDS guidelines regarding a smoke-free environment.
No, it's not. Your baby can be born with asthma problems and low birth weight. I know those are 2 of the main problems. You can do a little more research online about it though.
