stealing my thunder!

Does anyone feel that there thunder has been stolen by someone else? Everything that happens lately feels like people go out there way to take this special time away from me. Its very frustraiting and no one understands, they think im bein silly. For example my sister in law is also having a baby and altho i am 20wks ahead of her shes buyin same pram as me?? i already have mine but thts th one she wants too. am i just bein selfish?

Dont get ne wrong his family are suportive but just feel now my baby has been put to th bak bcos his sister still lives at home so they no they will see tht baby all th time. its just anoyin bcos its th first grandchild.. but not for very long. and my baby will want for nothing as my side are all very excited about it, except my other sis in law who doesnt talk about it all. and its hard to not talk about it wen my big belly is right there.

I'm in the same position... although it bothers me more than I let on... I got pregnant first in august... and both my sister in laws weren't happy for me/us. One already had a baby and was planning on having a baby in the new year... she's like 15 or 16 weeks pregnant now... my other sister in law who was happy for me, told me its because she wanted the attention on her, not us. My third sister in law is also pregnant... 13 weeks... although she didn't plan to get pregnant... she thought she couldn't because she had already lost a baby.. so I'm very happy for her. But she wasn't so happy for me.  Very annoying. My mother in law was around a lot.. but now she only comes around if we call her and need something... she use to take me shopping and spend the day with me but she doesn't even visit me anymore. She drops stuff off at my boyfriends work instead :-(  I can't complain... she did buy my crib and dresser and pretty much all the big stuff... I just wish his family was more supportive.

Thats crazy. so she wasnt even with the babys dad for long then? Anytime i go to th house its always showin me stuff that there getin and now i dnt even say wat av bought incase they want tht too. That sounds terrible but i dnt want to tell them anythng cos i dnt want them havin exatly wat i have.

Not at all, my bfs cousin is pregnant and she is 2 months behind me, well the minute the family starts planning my baby shower she decides to start planning her own for 2Weeks after mine! Grr. I am having a very hard time feeling happy for her because 2 months before she conceived this child she got pregnant and aborted the baby because she had cheated on her bf and didn't know who the dad would be, now all the sudden she gets pregnant again (not with either man from 2 months prior!) And is all excited, erg! You cant just pick and choose which babies you will and won't keep! I'm just so frustrated that lately everything is about her because her new baby Daddy got locked up in prison and everyone feels so sorry for her that she has to go through it alone.

Yeah its so anoyin. my baby will be th first grandchild on both sides which i thought was very exciting and now its not goin to b th baby for very long. usally things like that dont bother me but lately its really getin to me. i just hate the fact she told me tht her mum says its so much diff tht shes pregnant. which i can understand but why tell me that? of course its diff wen its ur own daughter but dnt take th one thing i want more than anythng away from me.

Oh i have this problem with one person i know.she copied everything i did in high school. I moved to hawaii,she tries to do the same but ends up in texas only to move back 2 days later. I got married to my husband whos in the military. A couple years later,shes marrying someone in the navy. Found that out when i announced my pregnancy. That very same day her text said " hey.saw youre pregnant.congrats.im getting married" just like that.always has to be about her. Frustrates me to no end how she tries to do as i do or tries to one up me somehow
