strange

So... I had my twins in Jan. 2010 and breastfed until March 2011. My husband had a vasectomy in October 2010. I had my first cycle in May (didn't have any the whole time while breastfeeding).  Then in August I experienced extreme nausea the whole month... and in September. It was almost like pregnancy symptoms. My hormones were all over the place and only spotted instead of having a normal period. October I didn't have one at all. November the same spotty stuff. Another thing that I noticed was a really dark brown discharge that had a strange texture to it (forgot to mention this to the doc at my appt a couple weeks ago). Well I went to the doc for bloodwork and it came back that I had PCOS and they gave me meds (provera) to take for five days. Two weeks later and right on cue the same spotting started and still no period. Do people go through early menopause or anything like that? I'm only 24. It's very strange and my hormones are so crazy I can't stand it.

Thanks. My aunt had early menopause as well... I'm pretty sure. I will have to find out. If so it may be something genetic and I guess I should ask the doctor. Ugh. Crazy to think it could be something like that at 24.

My grandmother's cycles messed up around age 30 after having 2 babies. She ended up having to get an historectamy. (not sure on spelling there) and now my sister is the same age as she was and she is experiancing no periods for months, bloating, pains. But she has neg. pregnancy test. So I suppose it is possible you are experiancing something similar to what my grandmother did and what we think is happening to my sister.
