stressin out a bit...!!

So...today I had to go and get my first ever colposcopy done:/ and I am 24w 5d preggo. Dr told me there were a few spots she wanted to biopsy but wasn't goin to cause I was pregnant. Told me to do a follow up after I had the baby. And if cells still looked abnormal then they wld do biopsy on my cervix. So wht I wanna know is if anyone else has been through this and after baby had normal pap and did not have to have biopsy or even ended up havin to have biopsy?? I am just really nervous and terrified at the thought of someone havin to go inside of me with a sharp object and cut a piece of my cervix off!! Just need some comfortin advice or thoughts! Thank you soo much:)))

Before getting pregnant with my first my pap came back abnormal and had to have a biopsy which was nothing big its just a little pinch you wont notice but you will get cramps. When i came pregnant 2weeks after that i changed dr and had a pap and everything came back normal. Im now pregnant again and dr said my pap came abnormal :-( so i have to wait to repeat a pap when baby is born hoping it cones back normal.

I had the colonoscopy done while I was pregnant because I came up abnormal. They said they wouldn't do the biopsy until after I gave birth because sometimes birth changes your cervix. Had another colonoscopy done after I gave birth and everything was fine! I was shocked! I hope the same happens for you!

Ive had a few colposcopys done and a few biopsy's. The biopsy isnt so bad, i found that it felt like I had diarrhea cramps for a little bit afterwards but wasnt unbearable. Ive also had the LEEP surgery done (i didnt have the option of being put to sleep) but I never felt a thing. Its not so bad, just think that if you didnt have these things done it could potentially develop into sometime more serious. Try not to stress about it and I hope all goes well!

Its not bad at all I have had 2 biopsys  and leep surgery. it is nothing to stress about. With a biopsy you feel a pinch or 2 and then you go on with your day, I was in high school the first time I had one and I had a choir performance that night. For the LEEP surgery they put you to sleep and the procedure takes less than 10 minutes and then your awake. I wouldn't stress at all.

I had an abnormal pap before I got pregnant, and I had a colposcopy done. It's really not that bad. It feels a little worse than a pinch then it's over. My pap once I got pregnant was also abnormal, but they said it wasn't anything to worry about; just make sure I repeat my yearly.
