stretch marks

Is it true that there is no cream that will prevent stretch marks? I already have stretchmarks from my first child but wantedto know if rubbing cream on my stomach faithfully will prevent me from getting more??

I didn't get any with my 1st except on my breast which look like scratches! I used the Palmer's lotion & if I felt the need to scratch, I did it while the lotion was fresh so I didn't leave any marks

I got none with my second pregnancy....probably no space left for any more! Fingers crossed for no new ones this time!

If it is in your genetic history you moat likely will hey stretch marks & the lotion & oils will help with the severity of it. The better mosturized your skin is the "less" damage it will become but to totally prevent it is very unlikely..

They didn't work for me but the good news is I only got two more with my second pregnancy.

They will lighten later on but No such thing....it's hereditary...

Im pregnant with my second child abd have no stretch marks on my belly! A couple on my breasts and that's it... my secret cocoa butter EVERY night before bed and in the morning after I shower. Might work for you also :)

How is he trying to control it? It's your baby also, and your the one carrying the baby I believe you should have say. Unless hes trying to help you with how you eat or excersise or if your actually doing something that could hurt the baby you should have more say.

i got a tonne with my daughter and have been oiling my bellying with both bio oil and cream multiples times a day and already have a few new ones. unfortunately for us its just genetics. :(

I always heard that it ain't gift to use lotion but if your going to get stress marks then your going to get them regardless. I know it *****, I'm 15 weeks with my first child and I'm starting to get a few and I use lotion every night and morning :/
