stripping membranes

Has anyone gone into labor after having their membranes stripped by their doctor.  My doctor did it this morning and OH MY was it painful.  Has anyone had this done and labor shortly followed. I was only dilated less than a cm when she did it.  She said it went very well and she expects DH and I to have sex tonight and hopefully within 24 hours we will have our baby.

i went into labor from having mine done--i walked for a while afterwards and had sex with DH :)

I went into labor 36 hours after mine were stripped. But I was also 3 cm dilated and 80% effaced.

I did start early labor after my doctor strip mine and it does hurt a little. But never really went to full labor till the next day. I hope u are doing ok and I hope this will help u to your question.

it hurt? just stripping the membrane? thats scary lol im 22 weeks and have been super scared about getting to the labor part lol
