telling family

Can anyone tell me whens the best time or about your experience telling your family/work/friends your pregnant? i dont know if 6w5d is too early.
planned with my bf after our first scan we would break the news. i am telling my line manager tomorrow as i work in intensive care so don't want to be exposed to infectious/harmful ppl.

thanks girls. i guess its all relative to each of us. i just cant keep a secret. Had my whole family together last night and was itching to tell them!!!

I told my mom when I was 7 weeks on new years at 12:10am crazy I was like happy news years im pregnant she did not take it well but im 23 so it wasn't her decision

My doctor recommended after 12 weeks since chance of miscarriage goes down then. I decided to tell my family at around 6 weeks. Too excited! Plus is misscarage were to happen I'd want them as a support system.

My parents knew before I told them haha I was living 6 hours away at the time but saw them the night before. After 3 positive tests we called them to tell them and they were like 'yeah we thought so" haha my partners mum cried coz she was so happy. We waited until after a scan to make sure the baby was ok to tell everyone else. Everyone knew at 6w, but I'm only just feeling comfortable throwing it out there in convos at 12w 4d
