It could an infection. I would talk with your doctor. They may want to do a culture sample to see if they can figure it out. Early on in my pregnancy I had a odor and discharge and it was a yeast infection.

I keep getting a thick white discharge too. For the past few weeks. I'm only 35 weeks and 2 days. My doctor said that it could my body just producing more than normal, but since you just noticed it was happening I would ask your doctor about it. I don't think it's anything to worry about though.

could be the start of your mucous plug. i had a constant dribble the last three months. if there is no odor i wouldn't worry. i would say tell your doctor at your next visit. but most likely your body getting ready for your little ones birthday!
congratulations!
