The lab told me that anything over a 2 is considered pregnant. But the doctors don't consider it a pregnancy if it is under 5. I was a 3 on Fri and today. What would make my number stay the same? And wouldn't I have a 0 if I wasn't? I know there is a chance of miscarrying but I haven't had any discharge (colored)
Ovulation usually takes place 14 days after the beginning of your menstrual cycle. The time of ovulation within the menstrual cycle is determined by the luteal phase, which is usually 12 to 16 days long. You can calculate the time of ovulation within your cycle by subtracting the length of your luteal phase from the length of your cycle. For example, if your cycle is 28 days long and your luteal phase is 12 days long, the ovulation will occur on day 16 of your cycle (28-12=16). The exact time of ovulation may vary within your cycle, because ovulation can be delayed by a number of factors such as stress, illness, diet, or increased physical activity.
Thanks. I have been starting from 28-31 for 3 months now. I am new to all of this. Why would my ovulation day affect my AF day?
Its ok. So your over a week late. It could be that your body is still adjusting to coming off B/C and your cycle may now be longer than 28 days or you ovulated latter than you thought. If you havent had AF by Friday then i would do another pregnancy test and if that is negative i would go back to your doctors to be checked over. Good luck and keep us updated.
Sorry I guess that would have helped.... February 11
When was your last period?
