tummy sizes

I always been a small girl. When I became pregnant with my now ,17month old daughter, I was recommended to gain 40lbs due to being under weight,  well anyways I am now expecting once again , currently 22weeks, yet my belly is so small compared to my previous pregnancy. I was told the 2nd time your bigger. I am the size of a women of 12weeks, yet my lil girl weighs 12 ounces. Healthy!  Does this happen to many women?

It's definitely not uncommon. You show differently with each baby. Some even on 3-4 babies can take months before they have a belly, and there is no set rule that you HAVE to be bigger in 2 or more pregnancies. It doesn't indicate how things as going, as you've seen with your own currently.

My first pregnancy my tummy was huge but had fairly smaller tummies during pregnancies 2 & 3 ... I'm 22 wks now and people ask me all the time if I'm having twins or more. It's all tummy this time. I think its different with everyone and every pregnancy.  Its not too strange to vary drastically in size.
