I have a feeling I won't either lol. I'm excited about the results, the process to get there just hurts a ton!
I do not miss my braces at all.
I've tried a popsicle lol. My teeth are just so sensitive to cold :\ it's mainly my back teeth that hurt so it's hard to get anything back there, including wax.
And I have no idea about Medicaid... I am paying for my braces out of pocket. My insurance didn't cover any of it but I recently got new dental insurance, so I should probably check!
Oh yeah forgot that I also got a mouth guard like a sports guard from my doc because when I would sleep I would grind my teeth together and it would cause the back of my inner cheeks and everything to bleed horribly from the brackets. I slept in that thing at night for a week or so after getting adjusted, made it SO much easier.
I got braces as a teenager but got booted off the insurance my dad had and now I'm 21. Just the brackets... Not even wires. :\ Wondering if you happen to know if Medicaid covers their removal? Because o know it covers dental care completely.
All I got was wax and tylenol too. Have you tried maybe an ice pack?
Didn't while pregnant but I remember the pain all too well. I took crushed ices and put it in my mouth around the areas that the brackets were digging in. Also baby orajel worked well to numb too. But I seriously survived on wax for 2 years.
Any advice on what to do for the pain?
