ultrasound today and didn't see anything

We had an ultrasound today, i had my last period around the 24th Oct, which means about 4 week pregnant, but didnt see anything, the person who did the ultrasound also did say my bladder wasn't full, can that make a difference? Will our baby be ok??? We have 2 other children and i've always been able to see something around 6 weeks, could i just have ovulated later? and only be a couple of weeks?

I totaly agree with the others.I think its way too early to see anything. Try not tostress over it. Give it a couple more weeks then you should see something :)

i would not worry.  it seems too early to see anything and yes a full bladder helps push up the uterus so that things can be more visiable but a full bladder only helps with a belly ultrasound, not an vaginal.  you are so early that you should have had a vaginal one.

i would wait at least 1-2 more weeks and have nother one done.

My doctor wouldn't even do a scan until 8 weeks...That way he avoids all of the potential 'what-ifs' of an early scan.  I'd try not to worry...you are probably just too early.  Best wishes!

A lot of people dont see anything until later on in pregnancy. At 5w3d we could barely see a sac and even then we didn't see the heartbeat until 6w1d. Having your bladder full during early ultrasounds actually matters a lot. Ultrasounds project an image by using sound waves to go through liquid and bounce off an object kinda like sonar.
