uncomfortable feeling, please help explain

Okay so bare with me as I try to explain this.

I was just laying in bed trying to go to sleep, and I had my hands on my belly like I usually do:) and everytime the baby moved, it didnt exactly hurt but it was an uncomfortable feeling, like major pressure in my lower pelvic area.  what could this mean? is it normal?  I'm a first timer so everything is so new to me.  

Anyway I didnt want to get up out of bed, but my first thought was to come on here and ask you ladies what you think, cause you have helped me so much already. so thanks in advance.

How far along are you?  The further along you are the more pressure/discomfort you will have down towards your cervix.  It's completely normal.  Especially if baby is moving or you are experience braxton hicks at the time you feel it.

i`m 30 weeks now .i had the same at 28  week lot`s of pressure extream down,very uncomfortable .i never had during my 1st pregnancy.

I hate to say it, but that uncomfortable pain is only going to get worse. :( I am almost 38 weeks and have been feeling it for quite awhile now. Sometimes that pains stops me in my tracks! When the baby drops, the head puts a lot of pressure on your pelvis, making it hard to walk and move. You may also feel sharp pains that go straight down, which is also normal. I would definitely mention it at your next appointment, but it seems normal to me.

Thanks ladies. Its still doing it, everytime he moves theres like pressure down there, but now I feel it like in my vagina area. its so weird.

maybe you really did drop...they say when you drop a lot of the time will feel TONS of pressure.

Hey I think that as the babies get bigger there is less room and they stretch and wriggle so they are putting pressure everywhere lol! I remember when I was as far along as you are and it only gets worse as they get bigger. The next time you go to your doctor I would definitely tell them about it just in case they want to check you for dilation or effacement...
