You can get them from pretty much anything. Hot baths,sex,not drinking enough water,spandex underwear,perfume or deodorant spray. If you don't get it treated it will be so painful when u urinate. It will burn and blood will come out with your pee. Only way to clear it up is to get antibiotics. Try to wash your private with an unscented soap or body wash will help it from coming back and make sure to urinate right after sex.

You shouldn't have sex with a uti. It's not that it's "dangerous" but it's like being around sick people when you're sick. Sex can introduce more bacteria into your body which can make it worse. My Dr suggests avoiding it.

Does the vigina usually get itchy or unconfortablr for any of you thay had it before

Just empty your bladder before you have intercourse and you should be fine

I get UTIs a lot.  I've got a tilted bladder (since birth) you can get a uti from not using the restroom quick enough,  from not emptying your bladder before intercourse,  from taking baths,  and if you're pregnant,  they are easier to get

Okay, i got scared a bit... but yess im getting on antibotics.... dr just called me this morning ..... what about sex?? Do i need to stop until its gone

You can get a UTI from doing nothing at all, especially if you're pregnant. the hormones make us more prone to yeast infections and UTIs. If you're not pregnant, it is generally associated with more sex activities. But it hasn't been proved that sex is the cause of UTIs. Those who are more active are more prone to it.

I had a UTI for w week before I knew I had one.  My OB put me on antibiotics and it was gone in less than 2 days

I had a UTI the hospital gave me a pill at night and one in the morning and that was it.

You can get a uti from just taking a bath for some women. It depends on how severe it is, but most of the time with proper treatment you should recover quickly.

Well i would get utis beforr i got pregnant.
This is my first baby and at 5 weeks i had a little uti i stopped it enough not to last a whole day.
What i did was drank lots and lots of cranberry juice and also always drink water after my cup of cranberry juice.

Im not a big fan of cranberry juice but it seemed to get the job done!! Also rest aloot
