weird taste that won't go away!

So i am about 9 Weeks pregnant and i am going crazy. No matter how many times i brush my teeth, use mouth wash, chew gum or eat or drink i can't get this horrible sour taste out of my mouth! Its driving me crazy i don't know if its something to do with how much i'm throwing up from morning sickness or something else entirely. I don't remember having this problem with my first child or with the pregnancy that didn't make it. Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas on what i can do to help alleviate it if not make it go away entirely?

And if you are drinking gingerale or 7up for nause, that makes it worse.

I know exactly what your talking about. My doctor told me its from excessive stomach acid and prescribed me a nausea medicine. Its a little pink strawberry flavored pill that dissolves in your mouth. That taste that your having, im still dealing with and im 17 weeks now. Its just not as intense as before.

Does it taste like metal at all? If so, it's a common complaint while pregnant. The best fix for it is food, if you're able to stomach it.
