what do i doo?!

So this is my 2nd pregnancy & knock on wood, everything seems to be going great!
except the fact that, with my son, i couldn't take prenatal's so my doctor told me to take 2 flinestone's a day..
well here lately i've been taking flinestones because i didn't want to try the prenatals & end up throwing up all day when i have a 19month old to take care of. but the flinestones have been making me really nauseated, like so bad i cant get up and move for the fact that i would probably throw up. the smell of them make me not want to take them, i do anyways because i know the baby needs the nutrients, but is there anything else i can take, something that wont make me sick?! please help me.

& with my first one my doctor perscribed me phenegin, (spell?) but to help with the nausea, so i had to take my vitamins with that a night, because that med knocks me out cold...

i just don't want to feel sick.. & i want to take my vitamins.

please any ideas would be great!

You can also try belly bar they have chewable vitamins usually you have to order from their website but they are for pregnancy and post partum. The most important is the folic acid so if worse comes to worse just get the folic acid pill or a vitamin without iron (usually it's the iron that causes upset). I took my prenatal after dinner so I had a full tummy and then I took a zofran which is similar to phenergen but should make you much less sleepy. Zofran is Rx only but you can ask about it. Also make sure you take it with a FULL glass of water. But really the most important is the folic acid which should not cause stomach upset

I take the gummy vitamins you can get at Target. I'm really bad about taking vitamins but those are more like fruit snacks. They don't make me sick either...probably cause they're yummy.

Try the Flinstones GUMMIES with extra vitamin c - they taste a bit more like oranges. Or try the princess ones. The gummies are easier for me to take than the regular ones too. It's like eating a gummy bear. Also, I get indigestion if I take them all at once. I spread them out during the day. Hope that helps!

i sorta of just went through the same thing.. im 26 weeks  over the last 2 months i has having terrible headaches, we figured out it was my prenatals.. my doctor told me to throw them out.. and just make sure i eat very healthy,, apparently sometimes you can get to much of a good thing.  depending on how far along you are,, my doctor said they are mostly important in the first 3 months.. i havent took one in almost a month and havent had a headache since.. talk to your doctor
