when are you considered 5 months??

hello ladies hope this post actually gets answers...lol...so I was wondering how do some of you ladies calculate your weeks into months all this has always confused me...lol...ive always thought your not considered 4 months until 16wks and 5 months at 20wks but I found this chart on a lot of baby sites and was wondering what you think??


Month 1 = Weeks 1-4
Month 2 = Weeks 5-8
Month 3 = Weeks 9-13
Month 4 = Weeks 14-17
Month 5 = Weeks 18-21
Month 6 = Weeks 22-26
Month 7 = Weeks 27-30
Month 8 = Weeks 31-35
Month 9 = Weeks 36-40

By weeks, at 20 weeks you are 5 months. That's how I count it. Every 4 weeks is a month.

I always considered 5 months to be 20 weeks personally. It depends on how you look at the charts and calendars as well, because that follows a 4 week month, and most months are not 28 days, but rather 30-31. Accounting for the extra days you're actually pregnant for 10 months, not 9.
