when best to conceive

i had an ectopic pregnancy in oct'10, i had my first period 6 weeks later on the 27th nov'10, i've been wanting another baby and having this ectopic has left me feeling low, i have just had my 2nd period since the ectopic again this was 6 weeks (8th jan'11 ) and i was wondering how long i have to wait until i can try for another baby.

I had an ectopic pregnancy cause of my mirena and they told me to wait atleast 2 months or more to let your body heal before trying again...

How was your ectopic treated?? If it was surgery i think they suggest about 3 cycles before trying again as your body needs time to heal, if it was treated with methotrexate i waited 4 months as this is what they suggested as its still in your body for that long and it breaks down cells so any future conception before this time could result in certain birth defects.
Its a very hard time as i well know iv had 2 ectopics one ruptured so i only have 1 tube the other was treated with methotrexate and you also need to alow yourself to heal emotionaly hun.
Have you not had a follow up appt with your surgen or early preg unit? I dont know where your from uk or us therfore mite be treated differently.
