when did you hear a heartbeat?

Just wonding what's the earliest you've gotten to heart the heartbeat I have an appt monday and I'll be 4 weeks 2 days and just curious if I will be able to hear a heartbeat???

they just started to try this past appt. we heard the heartbeat at 14 weeks, but saw it at 6 weeks 3 days.

Saw and heard the heartbeat at 6w 2 days and again at 7 weeks 3 days.

Honestly you'll be lucky if you see anything at 4w2d... most people dont see anything until 5 weeks and then the heartbeat not until 6 weeks sometimes even later than that.

Oh wow is it normal to not see the fetal pole at that stage???  I'll only be 4 weeks 2 days

I had an ultrasound yesterday that only showed a gestational sac measuring 5 wks 3 days.  We did not see the heart beat or a fetal pole yet.  My understanding is that you can see it on u/s before you can hear it.  I did some research and it's not unusual to not see/hear it in the 5th week.

We heard and saw it on an ultrasound at 6w1d but as for actually hearing it on a doppler at a doctor appointment not until 10w1d.

We only saw the sac at 4 weeks 2 days.  But during your 5th week, you might can SEE the heartbeat.  Keep us posted on how your appointment goes!

i got to hear my heartbeat at 6 weeks 2 days. my dr told me you can possibly at 5 weeks 5 days but i dont think they really do it.  good luck. congrats!!!

Oh- that is, they saw it on ultrasound.  They haven't been able to hear it through my belly with one of those doppler things until 14w2d.

At 5w5d they could not hear a heartbeat but the following week at 6w5d they could.

The earliest I HEARD the heartbeat was 10 weeks and 2 days, I heard it clearly and said it was very strong. But the earliest the heartbeat was SEEN was at 6 weeks.
