when will i start counting the weeks?

please help me.im really confusedd.i had my last period which started last january 30 and ended like feb 2 or 3, had sex with my husband 3 consecutive days after my period, im a regular 28-day cycle. last feb 26, i had my 1 day period which is very unusual..which comes earlier than my period supposed to be. plus i think it is implantation bleeding because it started like red then turned to brown plus it only lasted like 1 day,(morning till evening), followed by brown discharge only when i wipe. i had my pregnancy test this morning and it turned out negative. :( so please help me, when  am i going to start the test, and how will start the counting. im really hoping i will be pregnant this time :(

thanks very much. now i feel better than a few hours ago after i had my negative result. i was so upset. but you know the feeling that you are pregnant and its just like i dont know., cant explain. anyway, can u suggest any hpt brand? cause i think i just wasted money for the hpt i bought at cvs.because when the result came out to be negative, i researched for the accuracy of the hpt i bought.but still im really hoping the other one will turn out to be positive tomorrow.

After you take your home pregnancy test and it comes back positive, go to a doctor (or clinic, for those of us who can't afford it, there are clinics in every state) and they will be able to tell you, based on hormone levels and so on how far along you are. After that, an utrasound will give you a mre exact count.. I went through the same confusion, and to tell you the truth, the doctors don't have it down to an exact science either. They usually start counting from the first day of your last period. It doesn't make much sence does it? Good luck getting pregnant sweetie.
