I am 9 weeks prego and my sister has had 2 kids and I would really like to be able to talk to her and go to her with questions about my pregnancy since its my first one but when I do she makes me feel worried or crappy. Like I haven't been sleeping well the last couple nights because my lower back and hips have been hurting so I asked her what pain reliever was ok to take. When I told her why I wanted to know she says well its way too early for that. I just wanted to be like well obviously its not cause its happening like does she really think I would lie bout my back and hips hurting! She's done this with everything I've talked to her bout. Should I just stop talking to her or asking stuff?

I didn't even ask my sister anything pregnancy related..she tried telling me bleeding was normal throughout pregnancy, while it does happen to some women, it's not normal!! I figured everything out on my own haha

That's what it seems like to me kind of it seems like stuff that didn't happen to her until later in her 2 pregnancies is happening to me early but because she's been through it twice and therefore obviously knows everything(sarcasm) she doesn't realize every person and pregnancy is different lol

And she probably is a tiny bit jealous that it's going to be you in the spotlight

My sister has 2 kids as well, and she realized her kids wouldn't be the only ones getting the attention, women that have been through it tend to think they know everything pregnancy related.

Haha sisters are usually that way. I actually flashed my mom and grandma and was like "SEE!". So yeah, you're definitely not alone. There's always going to be people when you're pregnant that doubt you, just shut them out

I don't think my sis is jealous cause after her 2 she didn't want anymore but I don't know what her deal is but I'm like obviously ur wrong or I wouldn't be feeling this stuff lol

My sister's the same way, and she's super jealous of my pregnancy, or anyone being happy, for that matter. Don't let it bother you!

It just bugs me and makes me feel like why on earth would I lie bout something like that lol and it worries me because I'm a high risk pregnancy so when she tells me its too early for everything I'm feeling when obviously it's not cause I'm feeling it it worries me that something is wrong. Thank you for responding ill start coming on here with my questions instead of goin to her lol

My mom and grandma did the same thing! Eventually I just quit asking them, so now they think I'm shutting them out. Like my breasts started leaking last week and they were like "it's way too early for that" when obviously it's not.

Its def not to early. Those were 2 of my first symptoms of pregnancy lol
