why does majority of women want their babies early?????

I cant completely understand, trying all different things to try and bring labour on 39weeks+ but why earlier? Part of pregnancy is feeling fat, frustrated and just down right through with it.. U knew pregnancy meant 40+ weeks when you became pregnant! But i see sooo many mums talking about using things that can actually harm ur.baby cos they are fed up... Plus, alot of your babies development happens in the last weeks.. Suck it up n deal with it!!

I am 36 weeks with my 3rd, it has been over 95 for the past 4 months, I have gained 40 lbs, I am very depressed, it hurts to walk, I feel like I have a softball in my crotch,  every time I eat-I throw up, I could go on & on. Every pregnancy is different, some people feel great up to time baby comes, some people have a bunch of pain. My C-section is at 39 weeks. I would love for her to come early though. I have walked as much as I can, have lots of sex, eating pineapple with every meal.

Idk, I believe some moms are alittle uncomfortable or in pain but also may ask for an early induction because of an illness in the family or safety reasons. I'm pregnant with my 4th baby. With my first two children,  no induction but started castor oil with my second one on my due date. Didn't have her for 3 days after. My third one was induced by my request because my mother was about to go through chemo. I did request an induction with my current pregnancy but only because I was supposed to be moving around the same time I'm due but plans changed. No induction. But normally if a woman tries to have her baby by home inducing,  if it works, its because your baby is ready, if not, baby won't come. Home inductions are not very accurate. I would never try a home induction before 37 weeks tho.

My friend gave birth to my god daughter at 36 weeks and not out of choice. Her waters had ruptured and baby was in danger. She had to go into icu for 3 weeks before they could take her home. Just made me realise how important them final weeks are

I went overdue and was induced with all my children as my body doesn't seem to be capable of going into labour by itself. My son born 5 months ago was 13 days overdue before he was born, with no signs of me going into labour when induced. Yes it's tiring at the end especially when you have other kids, but at least you know as you approach your ur due date you are on a count down of sorts. You think 37 weeks is tiring, try 42!

37 weeks may be "term" but pregnancy is 40 weeks for a reason, I understand most babies are okay when born at 37 weeks, but some are not so lucky, every extra week counts. I've seen babies born at 40 weeks and still not take being outside the womb well. I'm just as anxious as the next mommy to hold my little girl, but I can wait 3 weeks after waiting 37, her health is more important!

I don't understand the rush either. I went full term to 40 weeks and turned down my doctor's suggestion to induce. Baby girl was born two days pass. I just want her to take her time and take in as much antibodies as she can to help her fight any germs in the outside world. That is also why I insist on breast feeding even when the pain is almost unbearable along with three cases of mastitis. It's all for the antibodies so my lil one won't get sick as much. So for all you mommy to be out there, let the baby come when he/she want to. The last two weeks can make a big difference. Don't rush them.

I cant wait to be a mum again, and for my lil girl to meet her lil brother, and this one is due in summer too but not so far into summer so it wont be as bad as last time, plus i have airconditioning now lol.. I thibk walking, sex and things like that are the most natural things u can do, ur gona have sex or walk anyway do i wouldnt even count that as perposly bringing it on.. I already know my little boy will have breathing/feeding problems at birth, so i definately wont be going out of my way to make it possibly worse by him stressing or not being ready..

Im 33 weeks. I am miserable, and can't wait to meet my son. But im not going to try to get him out early. Hell come when he's ready, when I am full term I might walk a little more but nothing more, if he doesn't come he's not ready.

Thanks phatz88 i can now see the comment, i completely agree with majority of what everyone is saying, i know what its like to be heavily pregnant through summer its terrible and my daughter came at 39+4days.. Every mother has the right to do what she wants as its her baby.. I just wish some ppl would readddddd! I seen a girl at 35weeks saying she had already started inserting this stuff into her vagina to bring labour on.. Becoz shes had enough.. Like i said every mother can do what they want its their baby. And next week il probably see her updating shes sick of sleeping in the hospital for weeks to be with her baby...

Due to some undiagonosed medical issues i feel that it may be beneficial for me to have my little man a bit early due to the fact that i worry about him becoming hurt inside of me. In the end it's women's choice to have their babies before or after 40 weeks, after all 37 weeks is cobaidered full term

Never have I seen anything anyone has posted that could harm their unborn. I could be mistaken because I usually don't read all the post. But I think a lot of mothers are just overjoyed and want to meet there little ones. Naturally if your baby doesn't want to come he or she won't come no matter how many myths you try. But I also know some women who can't take being pregnant over their term. It does take a lot out on the body, and they try things to speed the process nothing wrong with that. I just can't wait to get really pregnant lol. I am a million moons away from it.

Some women don't understand how it could affect the baby being born early. They are not fully aware of what they may or may not have to go through. But, 9 out of 10 times, it's because the mother is wanting to hold their baby. They have waited so long to touch them, kiss them, hold their hands, just be there for them. A lot of moms are miserable while pregnant toward the end. Everything hurts and the emotions you feel are all over the place.

I don't agree with trying to induce yourself before 37 weeks. However, to each their own. 37 weeks is considered full term, but the baby will come when he/she is ready or the doctor helps it along. If the baby is born by induction before 37 weeks it's typically because there was a need for it. I do wish some mother's would do a little research on how much could go wrong if the baby is born too early and try to enjoy the last few weeks of their pregnancy. I know it's tough. I just had a baby last summer and he will be a year old next Friday. And I just had another baby two weeks ago this Monday. I was pregnant during the summer twice back to back. It's rough and I know that I am thankful my babies were born full term. I had a friend from high school lose her baby this year because when her baby girl was born, she was early. She lived a week ( she was born on mother's day )... Eventually, her lungs collapsed and it's a very sad thing for her to go through.

All we can do is hope mother's do their research and a lot of the times it's just the mother wanting to be near her baby and have them in their arms.

Im 35+3 & im not wanting my lil girl to come early at all. She can stay in there until they induce me. I had my first daughter at 37 wks she was perfectly healthy but her weight was low, 5lbs 12oz. I want this one to pack on the pounds before I get to see her beautiful face. Plus im nervous and still have a crap ton of cleaning to do lol

I'm with Jgness. I'm 38 weeks tomorrow and I want her here now. Not because I'm in too much pain or whatever. The pain *****, but I'm so anxious to see her pretty face and see how her sister will be as a big sister. That being said, I'm not willing to do anything to induce labor on my own.

I do not understand it either. I had no option when i had my daughter but to have her early. I had her at 23+4 weeks. I had an infection and she just came on out. I am now pregnant with my second and hoping i can go fullterm with this one. I feel bad for.the moms.that want their baby early. Been there done.that. Not Understand fun.experience. Keep those babies in.there!

Yes i wasnt having a dig at anything like that, thats totally different and your babies would be perfectly healthy.. Im just saying where im from, if ur baby is born before 36weeks usually they are in icu for a few weeks because they havent developed preoperly, and seeing ppl at 35weeks wanting to bring labour on with things that have made complications frustrates me. Its just my opinion..

I dont understand it either. But this is my first pregnancy so im not sure. I think of it like my mother and sister just went through it naturally and the baby will come when they are ready. I don't want to force something so natural.
