why people have such a problem with us working

I work at home depot and you don't really get to see everybody because it's big and it's different departments plus some people work different hours there are 7 pregnant females that I know of I think one went on leave but it feels like every time I see someone new they say omg your pregnant too there's so many of y'all once I was in the locker room and I heard them talking about all the pregnant females and why do they even work and blah blah than they seen me and was quiet than again this weekend these two Jamaican people were talking I'm from africa I know some what of what they say it's really not that different but they were talking about us and how there are too many and stuff to me it's like why are you mad because we are still working after getting pregnant and working hard and getting hours so far I have only missed one day since being pregnant when I'm there I work my *** off so I don't get why they talk about us being pregnant the main people that call out are the ones that are not pregnant smh it's so annoying and getting to the point where if I hear it one more time imma say something and tell the big boss

I work at H&R Block during tax season and when I was there I was very early in my pregnancy my manager found out I was pregnant and since then she wouldn't let me do the things I usually did and made sure I always ate, I appreciate it but she didn't let anyone in the office allow me to carry heavy stuff -.- I'm tiny 5" 1 and before I got pregnant I was 96 lbs but I am a strong tiny person and not being able to lift a box of paper like I us to or anything just drove me crazy -.- I know it was to keep us safe but ig I'm a little too independent

My mother-in-law works at Home Depot:) It doesn't seem like they really care if you are working pregnant or not it sounds like there are jus a lot of you pregnant at the same time. A lot of ppl at my church made comments like that wen I was pregnant wit my first. It was very annoying at times, but it was crazy that almost 20 of us were pregnant all at the same time. Normal if someone knws someone pregnant it's a friend or a family member. Ppl usually dnt see multiple pregnant woman around like that and often ppl dnt even realize wat they say. Dnt stress out about it enjoy the rest of your pregnancy:)

Ya know, I think people make comments and they aren't all that deep. I'm sure no one cares if you are pregnant but just make a comment to you to be polite to acknowledge your pregnancy and that they notice other people are pregnant at the same place too.  I don't think anyone believes pregnant women shouldn't work---  in fact, probably the opposite. Being pregnant is hard but not a special disabled status or anything that should prevent women from working.  I worked my whole pregnancy too.   I needed the cashola.  :>)  So, try not to take this to heart or worry about it hon.  good luck
