Everyone's says no, and I don't think you really should however I went my Xmas dinner last week and had half a glass of wine, but I had a quarter at a time over a few hours... I won't drink anymore though just had a celebratory drink.

NO alcohol is good during pregnancy. A 5oz glass of wine has as much alcohol as a 12oz can of beer or a 1oz shot of liquor.

They are saying now that no alcohol is ok... I feel I wouldn't give a newborn wine, so I won't do it whilst pregnant. A glass of wine would make me giddy, I'd hate to think what it would do to an unborn baby.

Honestly one glass would probably be okay, but would I risk it, no. There's no amount of alcohol that's safe during pregnancy, and rule of thumb is if you wouldn't feed it to your newborn, don't do it while pregnant, but I agree, definitely ask your doctor, he/she knows best!

Everyone says a glass is fine...i refuse to just brcause I try to live by "if you wouldnt put it in your newborns mouth then dont put it in yours"  plus it would take more than a glass to make me happy at this point lol but yes, one glass of red is said to be ok
