So my supervisor doesn't have any kids. So when some one at the work place get pregnant she acts as if she is happy until you have to call in or go to the doctor. So I told her the doctor wants me a bed rest for a couple days she gave me attitude. Like I'm using my pregnancy as an excuse not to come to work. Than with the other ladies who kids get sick and need to go to the doctor she goes to them and say can't a family member take them. Ugh she is a pain maybe if she had kids she would be different. I just had to vent.

I've lost a 2 jobs and a few potential jobs because I told them there jobs weren't nearly as important to me as my children, they are my number one, my husband works, makes decent money, I'm going to be selling jewelry, and I go to school full-time... So I don't "work" I'm a stay  at home mom...

I agree!! They act like we can't do anything just because we are with child....it *****! Just because we're pregnant doesn't mean we have to walk around barefoot and big belly doing nothing.

I told my job I was pregnant and I missed a day because I was cramping and a week later they fired me because they feel the chemicals will be harmful to me and the baby. Some places make me sick the way they treat pregnant women.

I'm going through the samething...my manager actually had the nerve to tell me that I need to find a way to work around my appointments...I completely lost it...I said if you actually think I'm going to mess with lie health of my daughter just for this job you are sad. I told her that my child comes fist!!! And the sad part is she has kids....I can not stand people that think just because your at work being a mommy has to be put on hold.....maybe your supervisor is just jealous.... Oh well she will get over it :)....always put the health of you and your child first and if she doesn't like it oh well.
