working while pregnant

I work nights at a rubber hose factory. My work is pretty strenuous on the body. I work around 52 hours a week and am about 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Is that ok? Or should I talk to my supers about slowing down a bit?

Yes this is my first pregnancy. Pretty nervous. Yea its quite the work load and I lift only every so often. But it does happen. And I work around a couple chemicals too so that's worrisome. Thank you!

Yike 52 hours a week sounds like alot and very exhausting. Especially if you are lifting. I lifted a box at home earlier in my pregnancy about when I was 6 weeks and I pulled something and had back pain. I'd say talk to your doctor though.
