worst stabbing pain in my pelvis?? whats this?

So i have this really bad pain in my pelvis...nowhere else...just my pelvic area..its really bad..feels like a knife is stabbing me...anybody experienece this and what is it??

so im still getting the knifing pain down there..im going to takea hint and say that i think its my cervix dialating!! :):) we'll see! I have been having contractions but not regular...could this still be the beginning of labuor maby!??

your pain is prob associated with your ligaments stretching!! YOur around the time now when your uterus will prob stretch a bit!! No bleeding which is great and i think your pretty well in the clear anyways when it comes to misscarriage!! :) so keep your head up and everything will go smoothly..i was just wondering what my pain was becuase im soo far along!! I think i may go today..( hahah i have been saying that sence like week 36) but anywho i just had the biggest contaction of my life!! My belly literally looked like it balled up and it actually kinda burned it hurt that bad!! lol..i hope this is it ladies..then again that could have been the only one ill have!! lol but it was huge! lmao so i must be getting close!! I tell myself baby will come when ready baby will come when ready!! lol..i really just wanna do it on my own this time and im really hoping it comes soon ladies!!  Baby is relly moving around though so that means its prob bh!! I hope not..keep you posted!

Im 13 weeks pregnant and having pelvic pain everytime I sneeze or cough any advice would be great no bleeding or anything just the pain

Ive been having this too.  I have been losing my mucus plug all day so i was excited about that.  Im only 1 cm dilated and 25% effaced and the baby is at a +1 station as of yesterday.  I think things are going to be happening hopefully for the both of us.  Your due sooner than me so hopefully it happens to you first but theres no predicting these lovely babies now is there!  haha  labor dust to the both of us!

the pain your feeling sounds like your pubic bone separating.  its in 2 pieces and it has to separate to make room for baby.  ouch!

so i have been cramping on and off all day and feeling very weird nothing constant or regular!! soooo im going to guess not in labour right now but maby later!! lol :):) More bding and well see!! Ill keep you posted!

Go SPEED walk!  I'm not even kidding!  It could work for you too!  My friends doctor told her to do that, so I loaded my baby up, and we went walking, and I told her she had to keep up with me, I wasn't going too fast for her, but it surely got her contracting and dialated more!!!  =)

Sorry - I went off on my own little rant and forgot to answer your q.  I do have those sometimes (i think we are describing similar things) and I think it is how the baby is laying at the time, b/c mine comes and goes - so when he is  low I am more likely to have pelvic pressure and such.  Ashiepooh gave some other good options too.  I hope this is it for you!

You know, since your having cramps too, you should seriously go for a walk!  Make sure to have your man or someone with you, and have a bag ready to go just incase!!!  =)  I'd say, try to walk as fast as you can, not run, but try to speed walk, that should give you some really good contractions, if not set you into labor!!

Lucky you! I am jealous (as usual)!  I  just want this baby out!  I had an appointment with my midwife at 10 - Eastern this morning and NO CHANGE!  Still just 1 cm dilated and 25% effaced and -2 -HE DOES NOT WANT TO COME OUT!  The midwife was joking with me and said "I don't think he wants to have his birthday in November"... I told my DH last night that I am officially quitting the the whole pregnancy thing - and he was like "I don't think it works that way"  He tried to coad Landen to come out - but of course he does not listen.  He is too fat and happy where he is to come out.

lol..im having menstural cramps now!! You know i lost my plug right so i guess i could be going soon! I had my massage therepy yesterday and she tried hard to put me in labour so i was waiting and waiting! lol

Hehe it could be a few things.  For me, when I feel a stabbing stinging pain down there, it's usually me dialating.

But it could be baby engaing completely, you could be dialating, your hips could be spreading a bit....

Hard to say really.  You can call your doctor and ask, they should give you an answer to tell you what it is.  =)
