I went to the hospital for severe abdominal pain. They injected me with iodine, gave me morphine, 2 x rays and a cat scan before we realized the "cyst" they were looking for had a heart beat!! All is well with baby :) my dr told me that early in your pregnancy, interference like that will either terminate the pregnancy or the baby will be fine. Don't stress!!

Baby will be fine!! I've had a few xrays while pregnant. And this pregnancy I've been exposed to xrays, mri's, ct scans, and other tests that give off radiation with my 20 month old. My little girl is growing and healthy as can be!!

I had the same concern love. I was taking medication for Mulitple Sclerosis, pain killers and other drugs due to my condition. I also had 3 MRIs done in July. I'm 4wks pregnant now. I told the doc all of this and she said the baby is fine because development has not started yet. I would suggest that you focus on the baby now that you know and take precaution with everything.

Congrats. It looks like we're in the same boat and will go through this journey together.
