2nd pregnancy...doctor won't do ultrasound yet?
I just called to make my 1st appointment to confirm my pregnancy. I'm 8 weeks as of now. But my appointment is Feb 1st. They said they are just gonna do a pap test? Why? I wanna know this baby is healthy and strong!
I am 9 weeks 1 day. I have my first appt on thursday. Doctor scheduled ultrasound before my appt. Each doctor is different on when they order ultrasounds
If your sure on your dates then there isn't a need for a dating ultrasound.
My doctor doesn't do an ultrasound until 13 weeks.
it might depend on your insurance, most insurance companies wont pay for a test without documentation from a doctor first.
Im 6 weeks and I will have my first ultrasound on my second visit which is tomorrow. I have to have a pap smear in Feb because its time.
Oh okay...thanks ladies. Maybe well schedule it after my appointment. I hope!
I scheduled my first ultra sound at my first appt. I had it about a week or 2 later
I'm sure your doctor will schedule an ultrasound at your first appointment.
