2nd time mom!

This is my second and it doesn't feel like it's happening. Idk if it's because I'm not as wound up as with my first or if something is off. I found out on the 11th. My symptoms are totally different, based on lmp I'm about 8weeks; with my 1st I had severe sore breasts and abdominal pressure and 7-14weeks serious nausea. Now I have only peeing frequently, slight abdominal pressure, and very mild nausea infrequently. I'm kind of worried as I haven't had an ultrasound yet, I think once I see my baby it'll be more real. My appt isn't until the 19th, ugh too far away. Lol any other moms feel this way? I've never had a mc but hear other sad stories and of course pray it doesn't happen. Im 26;

I am 26 as well and 20 weeks as of today with baby #2. There has been a world of difference in my pregnancies. My first was easy breezy...not sick even once and this one for the first 17 weeks I was severely sick and just not enjoying this pregnancy near as much as my first. My morning sickness has finally started to subside and my energy level is going back up. I too had that sinking/something off feeling until the first ultrasound. Hang in there and hopefully everything will start to feel much better for you too. Best wishes!

Finally had my ultrasound yesterday and found out my period was off by 4weeks. Darn irregulars (I had only had 2 periods since having my daughter) I'm due 5/22/17 and am 7wks and 3days. Super discouraging cause of course I'd rather be further along. :/

Pregnancies can be completely different even for the same woman I would not worry about a mc with my son I was super sick all the time lost a ton of weight in my first trimester the list goes on I'm now four days over due with my second baby and I have rarely been sick at all not half as emotional and didn't even feel pregnant until I felt her move at 16weeks plus I started gaining weight with her immediately but nothing excessive it was just so different so who knows it could just mean the opposite gender than your first!

I'm about 5wks with my second too, and my symptoms seem to mirror yours. My appt isn't until the 5th and my daughter's 2nd b day is in October too.

That is good to hear. I've been having some nausea which is no fun but as long as I eat I am not nearly as sick with my first. My first is 2 in Oct; I'm hoping my energy goes back up soon. 9 weeks now and my tot has so much energy lol; dr appt was rescheduled so now it's the 27th! Can't come fast enough lol thanks for your input!
