I'm happy for you, we both have the same due date. What are you having?
I'm due april 12 & plan to work until april 6. i only work three days a week and work in hime care so i mostly sit on a couch my whole shift. if i had a different job i woukdnt be able to work three more weeks lol
I'm from New York, there are no rules that I'm aware of. I'm allowed to work as long as I can manage.
Where are you from? Aren't there any rules for pregnant women? I'm from Holland. With us you have 16 weeks maternity leave. You can stop working 6 weeks before delivery but it's mandatory to stop working 4 weeks before your due date. If you stop working 4 weeks before you have 12 weeks left after birth.
I can't imagine working till due date. Sounds horrible. I'm so tired now. All I want is to wash baby clothes, sleep and think of my baby :)
I'm going to rap up all my paperwork for the job by know and early next week then I'm out. It's funny how my staff always stop around 7or 8 months of pregnancy. I always thought they could have worked longer. Point is until you experience being pregnant you really don't fully understand.
Yea it's easy in the beginning but rhetoric further along you are the harder it can get. But just think of the reward you get out of it. My opinion I think you should have your doctor take you out of work so that you can rest. It's worth it and your going good to need every once of energy for when you give birth
I'm 33 Weeks And Will Be Working Up To The Day I Have The Baby. Did The Same With My First Baby.
My biggest problem is that I take the train to work, it takes me about 1hour and 30 minutes to get there. By the time I get there I'm already tired. And my back is also messed up from that long journey. Then I have to rush to the r bathroom, but I can't even move fast because I have pain down there. I can't do it no more. I never imagined that pregnancy was so hard.
I'm a ftm and I worked up until I was 36 weeks. My body couldn't handle it anymore. I had severe back pain and my feet would sometimes be swollen over 24 hours straight. Now I'm on bed rest. It all depends on how your body handles pregnancy.
Thanks for your kind words, I'm due April 12th. We're almost there but it feels like forever. Good luck with your blessing.
I'm due April 16th. When is your due date? I have been out of work since January due to some medical issues. At this point in my pregnancy I'm not sure how I would be able to work. I am pregnant with my third baby and I'm currently on bed rest. I have been in a lot of pain and discomfort and I have been extremely tired. I give a lot of credit to those of you who are still working. Pregnancy is so hard on our bodies. Good luck to you all.
I'm a ftm myself, but my body isn't trying to work with me one bit.
Honestly I guess it's just our bodys handle the pregnancy...lol im ftm so this is all new to me. :》
Naru89, I'm sorry to hear that. Good luck and safe deliver.
I'm jealous, with all my discomfort I can hardly manage. What's your secret? Lol
I'm not due till june but i'm leaveing my job in april due to some health issues
Btw I plan to work two more weeks. :)
Im 35weeks 4days I actually feel pretty good for my 12hr days work/school but I do need my nap in between, if not I would probably be feeling the same way as you gals. Good luck to us!
I actually wanted to do 2 more weeks, but the pain is getting ridiculous. Good luck to you,I hope you're able to make it for as far as you plan.
Hi, I will be 34 weeks tomorrow. I still have to work this week and next week. It is getting harder now but I am now taking it slow and finishing up my work. So it is getting better. But I totally get your desire to stop working. So if you can, why not?
