They gave me meds but they didn't touch the pain. So basically just sounds like I'm going to have to pass this SOB all on my own :-( I hope its true what they say..... kidney stones are worse than labor. If that's the case labor will be a breeze!! Thanks ladies for your inputs!! :-)

The pain was way to horrible for me to try to pass them on my own, they wouldn't give me any pain meds

I had them around 20weeks they didn't do anything for me beside fluid ivs because I was dehydrated. I was lucky and passed them fairly quick. Hope yours pass soon. I was told that cranberry juice helps

I'm 37+4 and I have kidney stones again.. First time I was 28weeks... The first time I had a kidney infection with it and it was throwing me into preterm labour, they kept me over night giving me antibiotics and iv fluids... I had over 8bags.. And I had pain meds! Then I was sent home with my antibiotics and pain meds.. This time I was given muscle relaxers, and two bags of fluids. And sent on my way home they are watching me and the baby I'm still in pain but I have increase my intake in water and started drinking more cranberry juice. It seems to be taking some of the edge off!

I'm 29 weeks and got a kidney stone at 27 weeks! The pain in my back was way worse than labor I cried for a week everyday until they decided to put a urethral Stent in. I will have it in until delivery but the back/side pain is gone!  Thank god I was so miserable and didn't go anywhere besides my bedroom to the living room!  Stent was very uncomfortable for like the first 5 days and burned when I pee but now I just feel a little pressure when I have to go but it's way better than that pain!  Omg!!!
