5 weeks pregnant embryo not as big as expected

Hello, I had ultrasound done today and unfortunately dr told me that the embryo is not as big as it should be at this stage. Im 5 weeks 5 days.  I got pregnant through IVF.  Egg retrieval was on 02.13, transfer on 02.18 and pregnancy was confirmed on 02.27. I do worry especially after my dr asked me if I was bleeding. I did not and I dont really have a lot of the pregnancy symptoms which I dont know if its normal. Did anyone else had the same problem? Please let me know even if the outcome was sad. I have another app on Monday.

Ok ladies what do you think...I took pregnancy test clearblue with week estimator on thursday and is said that I'm 4-5 weeks pregnant and took another one on Friday and it changed to 5+ weeks pregnant. Do you think it would change if pregnancy would not be progressing?

Hahaha you are absolutely right ;) they saw me earlier because I was experiencing pain on my left side. I had ectopic pregnancies before so it kind of freaked me out. It turnee out pain is due to enlarged ovaries from the ivf treatment.  Im watching law and order a lot and reading Dexter ;)

Take your vitamins, drink lots of water, and rest when you can. My OB won't see expecting moms until 7 weeks when things are more reliable. Try not to freak out too much (haha)! You're one day closer to Monday!

Thank you everyone for the support. I really appreciate it. I'm feeling better and staying positive.  Worrying won't help much. I will keep myself busy for the next 5 days ;) I do have sore breasts but it could be due to the progesterone I'm taking, tired and cat's food stinks to me now ;) I hope everyone is doing well :)!

That's really early for them to already start saying it's too small. Most women don't see very much on a sonogram, if anything at all that early on. I wouldn't worry as far as symptoms go either. I've been pregnant three times and never had symptoms in any of them. Lost the first one, second was a girl and this one is a boy. I wouldn't start worrying just yet :)

If there's no symptoms it might just be too early. I'll be praying for you and your little one :) stay positive and try to relax

The most important thing right now is not to stress yourself out. I haven't experienced anything like this, but stress can make bad things happen. It will be hard, but stay positive. Keep your head up and good luck! :)

Thank you. Im praying we get good news on Monday.  I had 3 ectopic pregnancies. I dont want to loose this one either. Once again thank you for your comment and giving me hope. My dr also said that maybe implantation happen a little bit later and thats why it's not as big yet.

A lot of mothers dont get symptoms till 7 or 8 weeks. My daughter always measured small. At one point the doc actually told me she had died when I was around 8 weeks due to how small she was and she wasnt growing. Shes now 6. Shes super skinny and can still squeeze into a 3t but shes happy and healthy.
