8 weeks 5 days...

Ok so I've had a yucky brownish/yellow/pink mucus like substance when I wipe off and on for the last 2 weeks. No bleeding, no spotting, no cramping just this mucus like snot I'm so sorry I know that sounds really horrible!!! I've had an ultrasound and everything looks great and we seen a strong heartbeat at 6 weeks 5 days. My Hcg levels have been great the only thing is my Progesterone level is only 13.7 which the Dr. called today and started me on 100mg of progesterone twice a day. I don't remember having this mucus with my daughter or ever having progesterone checks I requested it this time. I'm just really concerned because I've had a previous miscarriage but have since went on to have a healthy 8 year old daughter. Any input would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

I'm currently having this as well,  snotty brownish tangy. Very little and only noooow and then for the past3 weeks. Mine started at about 5 weeks.  I'm also on progesterone cyclogest 200mg twice a day.  I was quite scared at 5w3d.scan showed healthy heartbeat then already. Then again  last week felt a scare. Scan showed a healthy heartbeat and growing baby at 8 weeks. Well so I thought,  but then doc said I am actually 5 days ahead and showed 8w5d at the scan. Today I'm 9w4d.u have never ever gone past 7-8 weeks. It's a scary thought. But I've also never been on progesterone before.  I do hope that it's from the  progesterone. I've actually read up so much already on it and most women say that it irritated their cervix and 80% of them had spotting off and on with it. It's advise to only take it till 12weeks.but some women ween off them slooowly, and take it for a few more weeks. I must say the times I did have more discharge I would take extra and it actually helped. It also helps to lay down or sit still for q awhile after you've got this scare. In my opinion so far it helps. It's a scary thought going to the loo the whole time believe me I know.  But all we can do is stay positive and hope for the best next scan ever. Look at the end this can go both ways, but keep praying and keep on taking your progesterone,  don't urinate for two hours after taking it,  that's if you are taking it vaginally. Give it time to absorb. And just listen to your body. Lastly I find that drinking a lot of water like 2-3ltre a day actually makes it disappears. Here's to hoping for sticky beans this time around. Amen!

I would call you're Dr. I've heard of progesterone treatments causing that, but I would at least call rather than take the risk of something being wrong.
