Acne problems

I am 16 weeks and have been having the worst acne all over my face and chest. It is becoming a problem. My face is very greasy I have to wash it 5 times a day. Even that isnt enough. I hate using the grease fighting acne face scrubs because of all the chemicals. Is there a better solution to this? Maybe a natural scrub/cream?! Also does it get any better or worse the more pregnant I get?

A good quality flaxseed oil ( needs to be a pregnancy one ) helps with the consistency of oil in the skin reducing breakouts. Also a good quality skin care product that has hydroxy acids , specifically salicylic acid, to help speed up the skins cell turn over reducing the bacterias ability to breed on the skin among many other benefits.
And lots of water

Check with your doctor or pharmacist before you use an acne medican not all ate safe over pregnancy and if possible to wait till the 3rd trimester the better....mine did not get better at all. But once I had the baby it almost immediately started to clear up.

I get some acne on my chin every once in awhile since I got pregnant. Mine isn't bad but I bought a grapefruit acne scrub from Walgreens and it works really well.

Mine finally started to clear up around 20-24 weeks? Still get the scattered few but much smaller. Since its hormonal there's not a whole lot to be done other than regular face washing to try and keep your pores as clean as possible. And even though it becomes more tempting try and avoid foundation and makeup as it will just compound the problem.

Mine got way way worsebefore it for better. The dermatologist even have to put me on antibiotics (Keflex) it was that bad. You can wait until about 7 month mark. Otherwise oral antibiotics and a topical cream is the only thing that help nw.
