Advice please! :)

So in april 2012 I had my left ovary and tube removed via caeseran section, I am now currently 29 weeks pregnant with my first baby, I was wondering if anyone knows if, because I already have a caeseran scar which is only just properly healed will I be given a caeseran for giving birth? I am very confused as iv heard conflicting storys on if you have a caesrean you can normally have a vaginal birth if you have another baby..but yet iv heard that the scar can burst during a normal birth....argh! Any advice would be appreciated! X

It depends on the doctor if they allow a vbac, however it seems like most do allow single vbacs now a days. I am attempting a double vbac. Realize that with a csection there is a chance of something going wrong as well so really you not upping your chances of something going wrong much with a vbac. I did a lot of research on vbacs and double vbacs after my second csection, wanting to for once know what labor felt like.  My doctor had a program a guy made that helps you calculate you chance of a successful single vbac based on age, weight, etc. You should talk to your doctor and maybe he or she could run the program for you. My doctor and I ran it tho I am actually 2vbac and I have about a 70% chance of a successful vbac based on it.  Also just watch your weight gain as much as possible.  My doctor said research shows people who gain less weight through the pregnancy have a higher chance of successful vbac.

I had a vaginal birth after c section (VBAC) and the doctor let me know that there is a 1% chance of my incision bursting during labor. No problems here andI plan on doing it again.
