Annoyed With Pregnant Women

I don't mean to sound like a horrible person, but I'm really annoyed with just about every pregnant woman I come in contact with. There seems to be two extremes with pregnancy. Either they are so super excited and blowing up with baby announcements about every tiny thing, or they are depressed, angry, or rude. Can't ANYONE just enjoy the ride? I think people are forgetting they are not the only people to have had a baby. Chill out. I, too, am happily pregnant but don't feel the need to throw it on the world.

I feel the same way a lot of he time. I think a lot of pregnant women use the "its hormones" excuse to mask the fact that they are being bitchy! I get that depression is common during pregnancy, and that some women are in really bad situations (although why you would choose to have a child in those situations I')) never understand) but those aren't the cases I'm referring to. There is a difference between depression and just being plain awful to people. I am a firm believer that most people create their own drama & nobody does it better than a pregnant queen bee! I think sometimes its more important to think twice before opening your mouth and to smile even when your grumpy or in pain or feel like crying. You are creating life! Do you feel those little thumps & bumps inside of you? That's your child in there! The newest love of your life, now and forever! If that's not worth smiling about-maybe its time to rethink your family planning.

Lol! This is how I feel about my girlfriend who is only 18wks! One minute she is bitching and miserable and the next everything is just amazing and wonderful...this is her 6th pregnancy in 7 years you would think she would be used to it all.

That seems totally reasonable to me. I know lots of ladies who are pregnant now too, and I just don't understand how they can make everything so dramatic. Share stories, advice, symptoms, but please, stop exaggerating about being pregnant.

I guess those of us that are just happily enjoying being pregnant are invisible because we're not complaining or announcing ever kick. Lol. I hear ya. It's so much more obnoxious with the social media blow up. Wasn't like this with my 1st 2 babies 10 years ago.
