Anterior placenta

So after my 20 week scan and now knowing that I have a anterior placenta  I've been reading about it and of course it's has me worried just a little. Has anybody had this and had a normal natural delivery and everything turned out fine.

Nothing to worry about. Lots of women have anterior placentas absolutely no issues.  It took me a little longer to feel baby's kicks (about 21w) but other than that, expecting a completely normal pregnancy and delivery.  I've had several family members with an anterior placenta and nothing out of the ordinary happened during delivery!

I have an anterior placenta and I still feel and can see my belly jumping at times when he kicks the front even though my ultra sound tech said I wouldnt be able too. At my 24 week scan ( am currently 27 weeks) my son was measuring in the 71st percentile and if you know my family hes definitely got the male genes. Im 5'9 my hubby is 5'10, my father and uncles are all over 6' and my grandfather and great grandfather on my moms side were both 6'4". So dont be surprised you may feel him on the front at times. I think it depends on the baby and their size and how hard its blows are.

I had anterior placenta with both my pregnancies and everything was completely normal.  The only difference is you don't feel movement as early and when you start feeling movement it will be on your sides not the middle of your belly. No worries :) my doctor said it's completely normal
